Pants Store Crosses $5M in Live Selling GMV on CommentSold

CommentSold, the leading commercial live selling platform in the U.S. with $3.5B+ in lifetime GMV, announced a significant milestone by Pants Store, an iconic Southern small business that embraced live selling with CommentSold in 2018. Pants Store crossed $5M+ in lifetime live selling GMV, a compelling example of how small businesses are gaining significant benefits from video commerce.

Retailers like Pants Store are the catalyst and foundation behind live selling growth in the U.S. While many consider live-selling to be primarily a ‘creator’ led initiative, CommentSold is constantly innovating to provide everyday retailers across the U.S. with the latest technology, support, and proven live selling tips and tricks to help these small businesses scale and build a significant presence.

“Pants Store started our CommentSold journey in 2018, wanting to get into the online retail space. Over time we gained a large following, which allowed us to grow our inventory and our team into what it is today. We did not know how big we would get or how loyal our customers would be, but we have been overwhelmed by all the support and success we have had. We are excited to keep growing with CommentSold and see what the future holds,” said Maggie Carter, E-Commerce Specialist of Pants Store.

“We’re thrilled to see shops like Pants Store reach a significant milestone like this. The biggest barrier to retailers adopting live selling is actually knowing how to maximize its value for their business. We know live selling. We are here for our retailers every step of the way, providing them with a prescription for success in addition to the best live-selling platform in the U.S.,” said Gautam Goswami, CEO of CommentSold.

The live video commerce market is projected to hit $57 billion in the U.S. by 2025 and will only continue to grow, with Millennial and Gen-Z shoppers adopting this as their primary format to discover and purchase new products. Retailers like Pants Store have unlocked access to this new demographic with CommentSold’s engaging live selling tools and multiple social media multicasting integrations.
