Grains higher, livestock higher.

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher on Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for Dec. gained 8 cents at $7.4275 a bushel; Dec. corn rose 6.50 cents at $5.3550 a bushel; Dec. oats was up 1 cent at $6.53 a bushel; while Nov. soybeans advanced 16.75 cents at $12.3575 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Oct. live cattle was up .05 cent at $1.2562 a pound; Oct. feeder cattle rose .17 cent at $1.5622 a pound; Dec. lean hogs gained .25 cent at $.7790 a pound.
