Investigators working on the disappearance of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie’s mother are consulting with Walmart management to develop leads. That's because a backpack the suspect was wearing is sold exclusively at Walmart stores. Chris Nanos, the sheriff of Pima County, Arizona, told The Associated Press in a text message on Monday that the suspect's “Ozark Trail Hiker Pack” is the only clothing item that has been “definitively identified.” Nancy Guthrie was last seen at her Arizona home on Jan. 31 and was reported missing the following day. The Federal Bureau of Investigation released surveillance videos of a masked person wearing a handgun holster outside Guthrie’s front door the night she vanished.
We're following reports that several people were shot at an indoor ice rink in Pawtucket, Rhode Island this afternoon.
Local news outlets are reporting that the suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.
It reportedly happened at the Lynch arena during a youth boys hockey game.

Josh opens the show by breaking down Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s headline-grabbing speech in Germany. He explains why Rubio’s address was a home run, what message it sent to Europe and America’s adversaries, and what comes next following the powerful remarks. Josh also discusses why he believes Europe has become a shadow of its former self and argues that the time has come for European leaders to stop apologizing and start leading.
He then turns to the latest developments in Iran as protests continue across the country, calling out what he sees as the deafening silence from many Democrats and why he believes that silence effectively sides with the ruling regime.
Later, Josh is joined by Erick Erickson, host of The Erick Erickson Show, to preview the 2026 midterm elections and lay out what Republicans must do to maintain control of both the House and Senate.
To close the episode, Josh reflects on the history of Presidents' Day and shares what the holiday means to him personally.
At the 2026 Munich Security Conference, Secretary of State Marco Rubio's Reaganesque speech on U.S.-Europe ties—emphasizing shared Western values, unity against decline, ally praise, and defense burdens—earned a standing ovation, embodying firm Trump-era conservatism. In contrast, Dems tanked: Newsom equated U.S. law enforcement to Nazis, while AOC fumbled Taiwan defense, revealing liberal amateurism. A GOP goldmine highlighting Republican resolve vs. progressive blunders!
Conservatives are thrilled as President Trump and Governor DeSantis hit the links over the weekend, fueling epic speculation—could this mean DeSantis is eyeing a spot in Trump's powerhouse administration? With their past rivalry in the rearview, this friendly game screams unity against the left's chaos. And on the policy front, DeSantis is crushing it with his bold push to ditch property taxes entirely, a move Mike hails as pure genius and is super grateful for, promising real relief for hardworking Americans sick of government grabs!
A federal judge is preparing to block the Trump administration from requiring states to turn over detailed information on food stamp recipients.
U.S. District Judge Maxine Chesney indicated she will side with more than 20 states that sued over the policy.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture had sought data including immigration status related to SNAP benefits, arguing it helps prevent fraud.
The court appears ready to keep the block in place, maintaining protections for state privacy and program administration.
President Donald Trump says his newly formed Board of Peace will announce $5 billion in pledges to rebuild Gaza.
Member nations of the board are also expected to commit thousands of personnel to help stabilize and police the territory.
The funding and security plans will be unveiled at the board’s inaugural meeting in Washington later this week.
Officials describe the effort as a major step in post-conflict reconstruction for the region.
