The San Antonio City Council on Thursday approved a plan for the San Antonio International Airport that keeps Chick-fil-A out because it holds to biblical beliefs on marriage.

The Washington Times reports the council only approved the agreement after it was amended to deny Chick-fil-A from being allowed to open at the airport, saying there was no room for the Christian-owned company and its “legacy of anti-LGBTQ behavior.”

The council cited donations by the food chain to groups such as The Salvation Army and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, who support the biblical concept of marriage.

A spokesperson for Chick-fil-A called the decision “unfortunate.”
