LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sep 22, 2025--

Future in Tech (FiT), a provider of information governance and document lifecycle management, is proud to announce the addition of David Shafiee as Vice President of Strategic Markets.

With over 25 years of experience in the legal technology space, David has built a reputation as a relationship-driven strategist who helps law firms and legal teams make smarter technology decisions. His career began in software development and has evolved into a leadership path focused on transforming complex processes into collaborative workflows that drive performance, innovation, and long-term success.

Most recently, David served in senior leadership roles at nQ Zebraworks (nQzw), including Senior Director of Document Workflows and Director of North American Sales. There, he worked closely with law firms to address the challenges of “Work From Anywhere” and expanded adoption of nQzw’s workflow engine, trusted by a significant share of the AmLaw 200, including many of the world’s largest firms. His time at nQzw demonstrated his strength in connecting client priorities with product innovation, a skillset he now brings to FiT.

David’s career highlights also include being recognized as Top Salesperson of the Year while at Nuance Document Imaging and receiving multiple Club Trip awards. He is widely known for bridging his technical expertise with his business acumen, creating solutions that align client needs with product development priorities.

David also brings a long-standing professional connection with Anthony Forde, FiT’s Chief Revenue Officer, further strengthening the leadership team’s ability to collaborate and drive growth.

At FiT, David will focus on bringing new client relationships into the firm while helping align development roadmaps with client priorities. “Joining FiT as VP of Strategic Markets is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of legal tech within the AMLaw 250,” said David. “I’m driven to create meaningful change by connecting top-tier firms with transformative solutions that elevate collaboration, unlock efficiency, and empower legal professionals to thrive in a rapidly evolving landscape.”

“David's experience, vision, and ability to bridge technology and client success make him an invaluable addition to FiT,” said Jules Buenabenta, CEO of Future in Tech. “His deep understanding of the legal industry and his proven track record in building lasting client partnerships will strengthen our market leadership and ensure that FiT continues delivering innovative, client-focused solutions.”

Outside of his professional endeavors, David is an avid explorer who enjoys traveling with his wife and four children. He also shares a close bond with his loyal German Shepherd. Passionate about aviation, he has earned both Visual and Instrument flight ratings.
