MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The Minnesota Timberwolves were short-handed for their final game before the All-Star break and facing the runaway Western Conference leader while playing on back-to-back nights. The rookies were more than ready. The Timberwolves took down the Oklahoma City Thunder 116-101 with four of their top eight scorers sidelined by injuries in one of their most inspired victories of the season. Terrence Shannon Jr. had all 13 of his points in the first half. He finished with six rebounds in 29 minutes and a plus-23 rating. Rob Dillingham had six points and five assists in 21 minutes. He was a plus-18.
