A Prayer When You Are Desperate | Your Daily Prayer

There is a kind of prayer that comes when you still have options.

Then there is the prayer you pray when you have nothing left.

Jesus, please.

Maybe you know that prayer.

You have tried to fix the situation.

You have asked for advice.

You have waited.

You have prayed.

You have tried to remain hopeful.

And still, something hurts.

Sometimes wounds are visible.

Others bleed where nobody can see them.

Grief.

Rejection.

Loneliness.

Shame.

Fear.

Trauma.

A relationship that shattered something inside you.

A situation you cannot change.

And after carrying it long enough, polished prayers disappear.

All you know is:

Jesus, I need You.

The woman we meet in Mark 5 understood desperation.

She had been bleeding for twelve years.

Twelve years of suffering.

Twelve years of disappointment.

Twelve years of being considered ceremonially unclean.

But when Jesus came near, she reached for Him.
