First Manhattan, a $36+ billion independently owned and operated investment advisory firm, today announced that Beddow Capital Management, a registered investment advisor with over $300 million in assets under management, has joined the Firm. Edward Beddow will serve as Senior Managing Director and Portfolio Manager and will continue to advise clients from Jackson, Wyoming. He brings nearly 40 years of experience in financial markets.

Mr. Beddow earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point.
