Exclusive Distribution Partnership: Aspen Surgical and Andau Medical

CALEDONIA, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb 11, 2025--

Aspen Surgical Products, Inc. is pleased to announce that, starting February 18, 2025, Andau Medical will be the exclusive distributor throughout Canada for its portfolio of surgical products, including Bard-Parker ® Blades and Scalpels, Fluid Management Solutions, Light and Camera Covers, and Surgical Markers, in addition to the Symmetry™ Surgical Instrumentation, Olsen ® Electrosurgery Devices, O.R. Company ® Laparoscopic Surgical Instrumentation, Aspen™ Probe Covers and Needle Guides, and Patient Positioning products that were previously covered by a pre-existing distribution agreement.

This transition marks a milestone in Aspen Surgical's strategic efforts to optimize its distribution network and enhance the customer experience for medical professionals and institutions across Canada.

Transition Timeline

On December 18, 2024, Andau Medical officially informed end-users about the upcoming change, while CHS ceased quoting Aspen Surgical products for new requests for proposals (RFPs). Existing end-user contract responsibilities previously managed by CHS will now be transferred to Aspen Surgical. The exclusive distribution of Aspen Surgical products will officially be transferred to Andau Medical on February 18, 2025.
