COLOMBO, Sri Lanka (AP) — Sri Lanka captain Chamari Athapaththu won the toss and elected to bowl first in the Women's Cricket World Cup match against England on Saturday.

England is second in the standings with four points from victories over South Africa and Bangladesh.

Sri Lanka is second-from-last after losing to India in the eight-nation tournament opener and taking one point after its match against Australia was abandoned without a ball bowled because of rain.

England made no changes from its previous game.

Sri Lanka added off spinner Dewmi Vihanga to strengthen its spin bowling attack at R. Premadasa Stadium. Seam bowler Achini Kulasuriya misses out.

The match started 15 minutes late because of a wet outfield.
